Where is FMMS hosted, and does it comply with the DICT Cloud First Policy?

FMMS is deployed in line with the DICT Cloud First Policy (DC 2017-002), with TLS 1.2+ in transit, AES-256 at rest, and VAPT by DICT. Hosting model options are presented during procurement.

Are SIM cards and mobile data an extra cost?

No. Connectivity, SIM cards, and data subscriptions are fully included for the entire 36-month subscription.

Will it work with our current fleet and future acquisitions?

Yes. Devices are OBD-II compatible for 2016+ models and support both 12 V and 24 V electrical systems, so current vehicles and future acquisitions are covered under the same contract.

Who installs the devices, and who supports them?

GSD installs nationwide at Regional and Provincial offices after knowledge transfer. The vendor provides regional service facilities, a helpdesk with escalation, and warranty support.

What happens to our data at the end of the contract?

All data remains DAR's exclusive property: full export in open formats at no cost, retention honored (3 years audit trail, 1 year GPS logs), and secure deletion upon written turnover confirmation. See the data governance section above.

How do users log in, and is there mobile access?

Vendor-provided credentials with role-based access — no SSO required. FMMS runs as a mobile-friendly web app with a dedicated mobile app for drivers and field staff.
